Two electronic border crossing points named e-Gate have been installed in Heydar Aliyev International Airport, Idrak Technology Transfer company told APA-Economics.
The functionality of the new automated point will be operated completely next week.
“Importance is that citizens will scan their passport without any human factor. The compliance of the information will be checked and if there is not any defect the crossing doors will open and citizens will be able to pass from point. This procedure will happen during 30 seconds. This mentioned functionality is envisaged for local citizens still,” the company said.
