First 30km section of Baku-Guba-Russian Federation state border highway put into operation

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has attended the opening of the first 30km section of the new Baku-Guba-Russian Federation state border highway, which is part of the North-South international transport corridor and is located between Yashma and Gilazi settlements of Khizi district, APA reports.
The new 150km road has 4 lanes. The construction of the rest of the road is planned to be completed in the second half of next year.
