Georgia has imported 31 881,6 tones of cement worth USD 1 460,8 thousand from Azerbaijan during January of this year, APA’s local bureau reports.
It was noted in a report of the National Statistical Office of Georgia (GEOSTAT).
It was noted that the value of the imported product has increased 779,7 thousand dollars or 2,2 times in annual comparison, while the volume of it has increased 19 248,4 tones or 2,5 times. In the reporting period of the previous year, Georgia has imported 12 633,2 tones of cement worth 661,1 thousand dollars from Azerbaijan.
