Javid Gurbanov: “Restoring tram transport in Baku is difficult but this issue is thought about”

Chairman of Azerbaijan Railways Javid Gurbanov has commented on the issue regarding the restoring tram transport in Baku , APA-Economics reports.

Javid Gurbanov stated at a press conference of New Azerbaijan Party that the restoring of tram lines to operation in Baku is a little bit difficult issue: “Back then the city was damaged by dismantling tram lines in Baku. It is a little difficult to construct new lines in its place. But this issue is thought about. Baku is a densely populated city. We have applied to foreign companies regarding the tram lines, we are also preparing a business plan. We think that tram lines may be built from Bilajari to Pirshaga, to Ahmadli, to Mashtagha.”
