Number of phishing attacks increases in Azerbaijan

In August of this year, every 96 of sites in “.az” domain of Azerbaijan has been subjected to a successful phishing attack, which is 0.27% of total registered websites, APA-Economics reports citing information, released by Netcraft analysis company.

In general, 370 of Azerbaijan sites have been subjected to a phishing attack and the figure has increased by 53.2% during the last month.

Note that number of websites, registered in “.az” domain for today is about 35,5 thousand.

According to the Netcraft, in Ukraine every 291, in Russia – 322, in Belarus – 1 057, in Latvia – 52, in Lithuania – 291, in Estonia – 44, in Kazakhstan – 1 085, in Uzbekistan – 782, in Tajikistan – 49, in Kyrgyzstan – 557, in Georgia – 336, in Armenia – 444 are subjected to a phishing attack.
