Production of construction materials in Azerbaijan decreases by 4.8%

In January-June of this year, the total value of production in the production of construction materials in Azerbaijan was AZN 426,7 mln., decreased by 4,8% in comparison to the related period of the previous year, State Statistics Committee told APA-Economics.

During the reporting period, the production of construction gypsum increased by 2.3 times, construction bricks by 19.7%, ready-mix concrete for wicker by 6.5%, cement by 2.7%, prefabricated concrete structures by 25.6%, construction lime 37,6%, the production of processed marble, travertine, alabaster and their products decreased by 38.6%, asphalt by 44.8%, and the production of building blocks and bricks from cement, artificial stone or concrete by 56.7%.
