Some airlines start to use Azerbaijan airspace instead of Iran

Some international airlines started to use proactively Azerbaijan’s airspace after suspension of use of Iran and Iraq airspace due to growth of tension in the Middle East, “APA-Economics” reports citing “Flightradar24”.

It is stated that in connection with the present situation after suspension of flights to Iran and Iraq during flights of aircrafts in the direction of Europe, a density has been observed in Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan airspace.

Note that some large international airline companies including “Lufthansa”, “Air France”, “Singapore Airlines” have temporarily suspended use of Iran and Iraq airspace due to growth of tension in the Middle East.
