“Azerbaijani side is conducting work regarding Nakhchivan corridor,” said Turkey’s Transport and infrastructure minister Adil Karaismailoglu, APA reports citing Anadolu Agency.
He noted that with the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway and integration of “Marmaray” project here, the uninterrupted Silk Road from Beijing to London has emerged. According to the minister, active mobility has started in the direction of Georgia-Azerbaijan-Russia- Kazakhstan-Caspian Sea due to the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway.
A.Karaismailoglu noted that there is significant progress on the railway between Iran and Turkey.
