Agdam-Barda railway to be completed by the end of next year

“The construction of the Agdam-Barda railway line will be completed by the end of the next year,” the head of Azerbaijan Railways Natavan Bayramova told journalists, APA’s Karabakh bureau reports.

The length of the new railway line along the axis is 47.1 km. Construction works in the railway line are carried out in two phases. The first phase, covering Barda, Kocharli, and Tazakand stations is 20.78 km, and the second phase, covering Tazakand and Agdam stations is 26.32 km.

44 percent of construction works on Railway line have already been implemented. The project is expected to be completed in 2023.
