“After the victory in 44-day Patriotic War new opportunities have arisen for the development of transport and communication projects in our region,” Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan said during the presentation of the report on the activities of the Cabinet of Ministers in 2022, APA reports.
The PM stressed that in this context, the opening of the new international and regional transport and communication corridors, especially Zangazur corridor, is of great importance: "Azerbaijan is rapidly continuing the works related to the establishment of the necessary infrastructure in its territory within the framework of the Zangazur corridor. 38% of the works on the construction of Horadiz-Agband railway, 74% on Horadiz-Jabrayil-Zangilan-Agband highway have been completed. The construction of the both roads will be completed in 2024".
