Currently, the restoration works of small hydroelectric power plants (HPP) in Karabakh are in progress, said Elnur Sultanov, the Deputy Ministry of Energy of the Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
4 of these HPPs have already been restored, E.Sultanov said during his speech at the Green transformation in Azerbaijan: Sustainable Development Goals conference.
Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Energy will proceed with the works in the direction of involving private investors in the majority of other HPPs, Deputy Minister noted.
