Azerbaijan, Turkiye, Kazakhstan and Georgia sign Road map on Middle Corridor

Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkiye, and Georgia signed a road map on the development of the Middle corridor, for 2022-2023, said the press service of Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.

“At the end of the event, all parties signed a Road Map on eliminating bottlenecks and development of Middle Corridor for 2022-2027, so that this envisages agreed working principles, as well as the execution time of exact parameters and specific projects that are intended to be implemented by mentioning the responsible parties. The implementation of the treaties will allow increasing the transit capacity along the corridor to 10 million tons per year by 2025,” said Kazakh MFA.
