“Contamination of liberated areas from the occupation with mines, slows down restoration and reconstruction process, seriously hinders the safe return of the IDPs, creates difficulty in achieving the SDGs by negatively affecting the development of many areas such as agriculture, education, tourism, food security, and employment,” Deputy Minister of Economy Sahib Mammadov said this at the meeting of the Joint Steering Committee on the implementation of the "Framework Document on Cooperation on Sustainable Development for 2021-2025" (UNSDCF) between the UN and Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
