Azerbaijan has an infrastructure quality score of 77.4, APA-Economics reports citing IMF.

According to the IMF report released on Monday, it is very impressive result as the country is ahead of the oil-exporting countries like Kuwait, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Mexico.

It should be noted that an overall infrastructure quality score is based on the factors such as transport infrastructure which includes road connectivity index, quality of road infrastructure, railroad density, the efficiency of train services, airport connectivity, efficiency of air transport services, liner shipping connectivity and efficiency of seaport services.

Moreover, utility infrastructure which involves electricity access, electricity supply quality, exposure to unsafe drinking water and reliability of water supply are also taken into account.
