Azerbaijan's share in cargo transport from Turkiye to Central Asia to reach 50%

Share of Azerbaijan in cargo transport from Turkiye to Central Asia will reach 50%, APA-Economics reports.

To this end, one of the greatest holdings of Turkiye Albayrak Group will participate in development and management of the Ro-Ro terminal of Baku Port.

It has been noted that annual truck turnover between Central Asia and Turkiye hesitates between 120-150 thousand now and the cargos are carried by transport vehicles of companies of Turkiye, which is a leader country in the region for truck transportation.

Currently, only 20% of this volume passes through Azerbaijan. One of the main goals is to ensure the transit of at least 50% of this volume through Azerbaijan in the short term
