AzIn Telecom may purchase Vodafone Ukraine

AzIn Telecom LLC operating under the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies aims to purchase mobile communication operator Vodafone Ukraine, APA-Economics reports citing Ukrainian Liga.net portal.

AzIn Telecom has finished assets checking process. The deal will worth $700 million, however according to experts the purchase of Vodafone Ukraine can cost 1,2 – 1,3 to AzIn Telecom.

Note that Vodafone Ukraine currently serves for 19,7 million subscribers. Net profit of the company amounted to 1,8 billion grivna (appr. $70 million), revenues will worth to 12,8 billion grivna ($495 million). The company is a part of MTS Group.
