Baku’s master plan to be approved in October of next year

The completion of the next stage of the master plan of Baku is planned till the end of the current year, Advisor to the Chairman of State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, Rufat Mahmud, told APA-Economics.
According to him, the works are underway on over 25,000 and 10,000 scale maps in this stage.
“The first review has already been presented. Currently, the documents are being reviewed together with the representatives of the Committee and other state agencies. After the works, more detailed plans will be prepared. Sections on a scale of 5,000 will be prepared in the center of the city. The overall process of the work is planned for October of the next year, and the 3rd stage will be started until the end of the year. We are talking about the approval of the master plan, that final stage, the new master plan is expected to be approved in October 2020,” R. Mahmud stated.
