Chief of Service: "There are reasonable doubts that most of phishing attacks on Azerbaijan are caused by Armenia"

"There are reasonable doubts that most of the phishing attacks on Azerbaijan are caused by Armenia," said Tural Mammadov, Chief Information Security Officer at Special Communication and Information Security State Sevice of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.

Tural Mammadov said that 99% of the attacks targeted government employees. These attacks are mostly conducted by e-mail, sending links, and so on, and neglected employees can become victims.

The chief of the state service also noted that the recent phishing attacks include serious Azerbaijani-language content: "In other words, it is felt that these attacks are carried out purposefully.
