“There is a specialist shortage in the ICT field in Azerbaijan,” said Deputy Minister of Digital development and transport Farid Ahmadov at the meeting of the Economic policy, industry and entrepreneurship committee of the Milli Majlis held today, APA reports.
Deputy Minister recalled that the share of the ICT field in the GDP in Azerbaijan is 1.8%:” It is several times less compared with other neighboring countries. If we look at Georgia, Kazakhstan even Armenia, the sphere of ICT field in the GDP is 2-3 times more there than Azerbaijan.”
