Direct flights start from Baku to Mumbai

Azerbaijan Airlines will operate direct flights between Baku and Mumbai twice a week from November, APA-Economics reports citing the foreign press.

This will allow passengers from Mumbai to reach Baku in five hours. Currently, passengers from Mumbai transit through Delhi, Dubai, etc., to reach Azerbaijan.

The airline has been operating flights from Delhi to Baku twice a week since August. Air tickets sale for flights from Mumbai has started, and the demand is probably high.

For instance, for travel around mid-December, economy class seats on Mumbai to Baku flights are currently sold out on the airline website. The business class seats for a round trip cost around USD 1,770.
