Reduced speed limit on the roads of national importance Class I

Speed limits for categories of class I roads have been established in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

In connection with this, the Cabinet of Ministers made a change to the decision “On approval of the rules for conducting inspections, inspections, and tests in the design, construction, reconstruction, repair and acceptance of roads.”

Up to now, the estimated speed on all roads of class I was 150 km / h, in a hilly area -120 km / h, and in conditions of high mountains - 80 km / h.

According to the changes, after that the estimated speed on the main roads of class Ia will be 150 km / h, in the hilly area - 120 km / h, in the conditions of high mountains - 80 km / h.

Estimated speed will be 120 km / h on highways of republican significance Ib, in a hilly area - 100 km / h, 60 km / h in high altitude conditions. Estimated speed on high-speed roads Ic will be 100 km / h, in a hilly area - 100 km / h, 60 km / h in high-altitude conditions.
