Regional Vice President of Airbus: "Azerbaijan is the most dynamic and fastest-growing country among European countries"

"Airbus will begin production of zero hydrogen-powered jets with zero emissions by 2035," Executive Vice President, Head of Region and Sales Europe at Airbus Wouter van Wersch said at the signing ceremony of a strategic agreement with Silk Way West Airlines for the purchase of two A350F cargo planes.

According to him, it is impossible to carry out this project only with aircraft manufacturers and operators.

"We need a cross-sectoral approach, including support from governments, regulators, energy suppliers, and airports. We also need to redefine all the infrastructure in which we operate, and hope that Azerbaijan will join us in this important mission. Besides, leading the European section of the company, I am responsible for a total of 57 countries, and I really want to say that Azerbaijan is the most dynamic and fastest-growing country among these countries. Certainly, we are ready to work with the Azerbaijani side in the future, " Wouter van Wersch said.
