Roaming tariffs to be reduced among EaP countries

An agreement on reducing roaming tariffs is being prepared among the countries of the Eastern Partnership of the European Union, said Elmir Valizade, Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and High technologies of Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, this document between the countries is expected to be signed next year.

"Agreement aims at reducing roaming tariffs among Eastern Partnership countries. All of these works have been directed to cooperation with the European Union and reduction issue of roaming tariffs with European operators will also be worked out on the basis of the mentioned agreement. Implemented works on agreement preparation are just at the last stage and it is expected to be signed next year”, E. Valizade noted.
