In January-September of 2022, volume of cargo, transported in Azerbaijan part of the Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia has been 37829,6 thousand tonnes, while cargo turnover has been 9435,5 mln. tonnes-km, an increase of 24.4% and 31.5% has been observed relevantly in comparison with the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing information from State Statistic Committee.
20376,1 thousand tonnes or 53.9% of the cargo fall to share of car transport, 12435,7 thousand tonnes or 32.9% to railway transport, 5017,8 thousand tonnes or 13.2% to maritime transport.
