The volume of cargo transported through Azerbaijani part of Europe-Caucasus-Asia corridor on Jan-June of 2019 was 25141,6 thousand tons, freight turnover amounted to 5301,0 million km, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.
According to the information, 16330,4 thousand tons or 65% of the freight transported through car transportation, 6265,2 thousand tons or 24,9% railway, 2546,0 thousand tons or 10,1% transported through sea transportation.
16,1% or 4056,5 thousand tons of the cargo transported through the corridor was transit freights.
