Not only Kazakhstan, but also the Central Asia will have access to Europe through the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, Kazakh Ambassador to Georgia Ermuhammed Ertisbayev told Sputnik Georgia.
According to him, the volume of cargos to be transported via this railway is expected to reach 30-35 million tonnes in the future.
‘Kazakhstan attaches importance to BTK. This railway line opens new perspectives for the country. Launch of the railway is the most important event of this year both for Europe and Asia’, the ambassador said.
