Poland is interested in intensifying bilateral relations with Azerbaijan in all spheres, because Azerbaijan is a very significant partner for Poland in South Caucasus, Polish Foreign Ministry told APA.
Poland is interested in creation of large transport and industrial centers in Azerbaijan: “Cooperation between Poland and Azerbaijan accords to Adriatic-Baltic-Black Sea cooperation concept, including Caspian Sea. Poland supports the Southern Gas Corridor which supports increase of diversification of gas supply resources to Europe. We are also interested in conduction of works on TAP and TANAP. Poland is interested in benefiting from purchase of gas from Caspian region. Our region has a great export potential and developing gas market”.
The Ministry of also noted that the priorities of cooperation between the two countries are agricultural development, environmental protection and support to IDPs.
The Ministry also said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov are planned to pay visit to Poland and Polish Foreign Minister Witold Waszczykowski to Azerbaijan next year.
