President Ilham Aliyev attends opening of newly renovated Qazakh-Kosalar highway

Baku – APA-Economics. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has arrived in Gazakh district.

APA reports the head of state first laid flowers at the statue of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev in the centre of the district.

Head of Gazakh District Executive Authority Receb Babashov informed President Ilham Aliyev about the work carried out around the statue.

Thereafter, the president attended the opening ceremony of Qazakh-Kosalar highway has opened after renovation.

Chairman of Azeravtoyol Saleh Mammadov informed the head of state that the highway connects two residential areas with the total population of 6,000 people. The 10km-long two-lane highway is six metres in width. Forty-two traffic signs were installed, one bus station was built along the road.

President Ilham Aliyev cut the ribbon symbolizing the official inauguration of the highway.
