Proposals prepared for solving problems with traffic congestion in Baku

Proposals have been prepared for solving problems with traffic congestion in Baku, said General Director of the Baku Transport Agency Vusal Karimli at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to results of socio-economic development in the nine months of 2017 and objectives for the future.

According to him, an appropriate study was conducted at the scientific and technical level.

"We have developed projects that do not require major investments to solve the problem of road congestion on the main transport arteries of the capital, including Tbilisi Avenue, Sharifzadeh, Tabriz streets, around the 3rd micro district and "January 20", etc. Beside it, proposals have been prepared for the construction of 17 overground pedestrian crossings in the city," said Karimli.
