140th anniversary of Huseyn Javid held in Istanbul

A symposium was held in Istanbul in connection with the 140th anniversary of the famous thinker, poet, and dramatist Huseyn Javid on November 25, APA's Istanbul bureau reports.

The event organized by the Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Istanbul was organized at the Faculty of Literature of Istanbul University.

Speaking at the official opening ceremony of the symposium, the Consul General of our country in Istanbul, Narmina Mustafayeva, noted that Azerbaijan is known in the world for its literature as it is being in many fields. Consul General speaking about the activity of Huseyn Javid noted that human factor, Turkishness and nationalism are the main aspects of the works of the poet.
