Today, the Presidium of Azerbaijan National Academy of Science (ANAS) has held a special meeting on the subject of "Azerbaijan Nizami studies of "Year of Nizami Ganjavi"" in the ANAS, APA reports.
Books and artworks published in ANAS in the "Year of Nizami Ganjavi" have been viewed.
The "Gold Medal named after Nizami Ganjavi" of the Azerbaijani Republic has been presented to Ramiz Mehdiyev. Nobel Prize Laureate in Chemistry Aziz Sanjar has been awarded the medal from foreign scientists.
In the end, the honorary degrees have been presented.
