"Azerbaijan did not arrest planes belonging to Russian airlines," the Ministry of Transport of Russia told APA'S Moscow correspondent.
It was noted that the statement made by the Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Savelyev during his speech at the Council of the Federation Committee on Economic Policy on March 22 was an accidental mistake:
"Russian airlines were not arrested in Azerbaijan. This information was accidentally incorrect. We apologize to our colleagues of the Republic of Azerbaijan, "the Russian Transport Ministry said.
