Azerbaijani President signs order on holding of 145th anniversary of national press

President Ilham Aliyev has signed order about holding of the 145th anniversary of the national press of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

According to the order, the 145th anniversary of Azerbaijan’s national press will be widely marked in our country.

The Administration of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic has been charged with:

- ensuring implementation of the anniversary events taking into consideration the requirements of the special quarantine regime applied on the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic in connection with the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and the recommendations of the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Azerbaijan Republic;

- submitting to the President of the Azerbaijan Republic within one month the proposals about awarding of the journalists having special merits in development of Azerbaijan’s national press on the basis of the nomination of the journalists’ organizations and the editorial offices.
