Hundreds of people came for anti-government protests in Nur-Sultan and Almaty, ONA reports citing Akipress.

Anti-government protests are held in the central park in Almaty. In Nur-Sultan protesters rally near the city administration. People reportedly protest against upcoming snap presidential election set for June 9, demand to improve social security for people with disabilities, mothers of multiple children, protest against the construction of a nuke plant.

Police officers are on the ground but do not disperse protesters as they did before with first slogans voiced by protesters.

The General Prosecutor’s Office of Kazakhstan has warned citizens earlier about unlawfulness of protests. People were invited to come to them via social networks and messengers.
