Russia joins the countries which ban Boeing 737 Max in its airspace, APAreports citing Sputnik.

Russia has become the latest in a string of countries that have termporarily banned the Boeing 737 Max 8 from entering and leaving their airspace, Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency announced on Thursday.

It comes the following day Russia's S7 airlines said that it would suspend operation of its Boeing 737 Max 8 jets.

Note that the American aeroplane manufacturer’s model 737 MAX 8 faced an almost worldwide airspace ban following a deadly crash in Ethiopia, which claimed the lives of the 157 people on board.
