Russia to conduct large-scale military drills in Crimea

Russian military personnel intend to conduct part of military exercises in the annexed Crimea, which will involve more than 10,000 artillerists and about 3,000 units of rocket artillery weapons, ONA reports citing Ukrinform.

The drills will be held at 20 firing grounds in Astrakhan, Rostov, Volgograd regions, Krasnodar Krai and Stavropol Krai, the North Caucasian Federal District, the territories of Russian military bases in Abkhazia, Armenia, South Ossetia, and the annexed Crimea.

Iskander-M, Bal, Bastion missile systems, multiple artillery rocket systems, and cannon artillery are expected to be fired during the exercises.
