"Iron Fist," a new tactical combat flight simulator jointly produced by the Ministry of Defense Industry of Azerbaijan and Deftech, has been presented at the Tekhofest Azerbaijan festival," said Technical Advisor to the Director of Deftech told APA.
According to him, it is completely local production, including the engine of the flight simulator.
"It was developed by Azerbaijani engineers. We are only working with the Swedish company on the software. Tests have been conducted within the company, and a certificate will be issued soon. We will demonstrate the flight simulator "ADEX" in full functionality. The simulator is intended primarily for use by the Azerbaijani Air Force. Then, it will reveal the export potential, "he said.
The company official noted that the simulator has high accuracy, close to reality. A simulator with a rotating cockpit will be used for combat training.
