Ahmed Obali, the founder and head of South Azerbaijan Television (Gunaz.TV), living as an immigrant in the United States of America (USA), national activist from the south, was brutally beaten in the USA, Araz Obali, the head of "Gunaz.TV's" Baku office told APA.

According to him, the incident happened a day after Ahmet Obali's return from Azerbaijan.

" Mr.Ahmed was subjected to a terrorist attack by an unknown number of persons in a hotel in the state of California, United States of America. Currently, his condition is moderate to serious. As a result of the attack, Ahmed Obali's whole body was seriously injured, his neck and all the fingers of his right hand were broken, and his eyes were seriously injured. His arms and He can't feel his legs. Hopefully, after he gets up, we will hear detailed information about the incident from him."

Araz Obali said that the investigation into the incident is ongoing.

Araz Obali also added that the police said that those who carried out the attack were arrested, but the number of them was not reported.

Araz Obali also talked about the recent condition of Ahmet Obal, who is currently in the hospital.

He said that Mr. Ahmed's condition is satisfactory: "There is no danger to his life. The general diagnosis is that the fingers of his right hand are broken. He can hardly feel his hands and feet. He also suffered serious injuries to his head and eyes. In our opinion, there was no attempt to break his neck. they did," he said.
