Editors of the Russian version of Sputnik Azerbaijan- Zulfiyya Gurbanova, Jamila Afandiyeva, Elena Starostina, and Gulzar Mustafayeva resigned, APA reports.
The reason for this was that the editors were demanded to publish material which is against Azerbaijan’s righteous position.
Thus, the editors were asked to provide the official statement of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, which refutes the official position of Azerbaijan regarding the Revenge operation of the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan.
The mentioned editors refused this and submitted their resignation letters to the leadership of the company.
