Resolution of the 8th Congress of Journalists has been adopted, APA reports.
According to the resolution, the report and the work done by the Azerbaijan Press Council and the Control-Inspection Commission were considered acceptable.

On September 24, the 8th Congress of Azerbaijani Journalists has started in Baku, APA reports.
Firstly, the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was sounded.
Then the agenda of the congress has been put into a vote and adopted.
At the congress, the report of the chairman of the Azerbaijan Press Council will be heard, the report will be discussed, and the new composition of the Council's Management Board will be elected.
