"15 percent of the territory of the Karabakh economic region was cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance (UXO)," said Bashir Hajiyev, Deputy Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories included in the Karabakh Economic Region in the meeting of the Working Group on clearing mines and unexploded ordnances in Aghdam, APA's correspondent to Aghdam reports.
He said that 26 percent of the Agdam region, 23 percent of the Fuzuli region, and 15 percent of the Tartar region were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance: "Many projects have been laid in the liberated territories by the president. Some projects have already been completed. Buffer zones are also being cleared".
