ANAMA Chairman reveals the area of territories cleared of mines in liberated lands

More than 63,000 hectares of land in the liberated areas were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance after the Patriotic War said Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), APA reports.

According to him, a total of 80,958 mines and unexploded ordnance were neutralized: "After the Victory of our glorious Army in the Patriotic War, the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan is actively working on clearing the territories liberated from occupation and affected by the war from mines, unexploded ordnance, explosive devices, and other explosive remnants."
