“Azerbaijan is a close partner of NATO,” said Baiba Braze, Advisor to NATO Secretary General on Public Diplomacy at the high-level conference “Women for lasting tomorrow” held at ADA University, APA reports.
“Azerbaijan is NATO’s close partner. The history of our relations goes back to 1992. In 1994, Azerbaijan joined NATO’s peacekeepers' program. It was represented in the composition of peacekeepers sent to Kosova. There is a mutual understanding between Azerbaijan and NATO, and both of them contribute to international security,” noted Baiba Braze.
