Azerbaijan signs agreement with British company in order to use drones in demining

"An agreement was signed with the British "RPS Energy Ltd." company for aerial research during the demining operation in the liberated territories from the occupation," said chairman of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) Vugar Suleymanov said, APA reports.

He noted that the researchers currently research the territories with drones and different devices: "Result of the researches are processed by the artificial intelligence. This play a special role in easing the work of deminers".

The chairman noted that 18 mine clearance vehicles were purchased and involved in demining work in the liberated territories.
