"Using banned methods, the enemy did not follow any standard, any norm while planting mines in territories, territories have seriously been mined," said Sabuhi Sariyev, Detachment Commander of Special Mine Countermeasures Regiment of Special Risky Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, APA reports.

According to him, contamination of mined areas with metal fragments complicates mine clearance work. However, despite all these, the demining process continues in full force. Contaminated areas are cleaned based on the principles of interaction with the employees of the relevant institutions. At the same time, construction works are being continued rapidly in the liberated territories.
