On November 15 at 7:20 p.m., the smuggling of drugs from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan was prevented in the service area of the border outpost of the "Horadiz" border detachment of the State Border Service, located near the village of Baharli, Zangilan district, APA reports citing the State Border Service.
As a result of the conducted border search and operational measures, one parcel hidden on the bank of the Araz river was found and seized with an approximate weight of 8 kilograms and 500 grams of narcotic-like substance (marijuana).
