“The issue of material and technical provision of Azerbaijani Army is also at the center of attention,” Deputy Chief of the Ministry's Press Service, Lieutenant-Colonel Anar Eyvazov said at the briefing on finals of the year, APA reports.
He noted that especially, to improve the social and living conditions of military units stationed in the liberated territories are priority issues: “According to the instruction of Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the leadership of the Ministry of Defence visited liberated lands more than 30 times during the year in order to check the combat readiness of servicemen and get acquainted with their social and living conditions, as well as the construction work carried out. Instead of the missiles and ammunition used in the war, new ones were purchased and delivered to the troops, currently, all combinations and units have been provided with combat ammunition.”
