Nur-Sultan hosts opening ceremony of "Masters of Artillery Fire" competition

Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, hosted an opening ceremony of the "Masters of Artillery Fire" competition held as a part of the "International Army Games - 2022", APA reports citing the Defense Ministry.

Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General Ruslan Jaqsylyqov and his deputies, the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Colonel-General Alexander Fomin, military attachés, teams, and media representatives attended the event.

Following the official part of the event, a concert program was held for the members of the participating teams, delegations, and officials.

Notably, teams from Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, Armenia, Tajikistan, Zimbabwe, Venezuela, and Kyrgyzstan are participating in the "Masters of Artillery Fire" competition, which will last until August 24.
