A criminal investigation has been opened against two Azerbaijani soldiers, Agshin Babirov and Huseyn Akhundov, who got lost in the territory of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and crossed into Armenian territory, in accordance with a number of articles of the criminal code. They were accused of illegal border crossing and smuggling of firearms and ammunition across the state border in advance cooperation with a group.
Journalists were not allowed to attend the proceedings held in Gafan.
