"Lands should be reused, cultivated again. For this, the land must be cleared of mines," Head of Counter-Explosive Ordnance Defence Engagement Office of United Kingdom Bert Appleton said at the II International Conference on "Mine Action - The Path to Reaching the Sustainable Development Goals" held in Ağdam city of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
"We succesfully conduct our training without exploding mines. We will continue our discussions in the field of demining, we will invite specialists to the United Kingdom. We also want women to undergo training in this field. The participation of women in the demining process is necessary," he added.
